I have a few OST (Offline Storage Table) files from my Outlook account that I need to convert to PDF for easier storage and access. I’ve tried searching online for converters, but I’m unsure about which one is reliable and works well for OST to PDF conversion. Could someone suggest the best tools or methods to convert these files without losing any data? Any detailed solution or step-by-step guide would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @Harrywilliam01
I hope you are doing well, and we are sorry for the delayed response.
Please see this article to learn more about converting emails to PDF: Convert emails to PDFs
Please note: You can’t convert an .OST
file directly to PDF with Acrobat. OST is an Outlook data cache, not a document. The reliable, supported path is: open the mailbox in Outlook (Classic desktop), then use Acrobat PDFMaker for Outlook to convert the needed emails (and attachments) to PDF—either as individual PDFs or a single PDF (or PDF Portfolio).
Thanks,
Anand Sri.

Hello @Chandel_Amit4690

No, Adobe Acrobat Pro cannot directly convert an OST file to PDF without data loss, because an OST (Offline Storage Table) file is not a document, but a cached data file used by Microsoft Outlook to store mailbox content offline. See this aricle for more details: https://adobe.ly/3IqWXQP

OST files can’t be directly saved as PDF, but you can do it manually or with a tool. For a few emails, open them in Outlook and use File > Print > Microsoft Print to PDF. For bulk conversion, use a reliable tool like BitRecover OST to PST Converter, which also supports OST to PDF. Just load your OST, select PDF as output, and convert. It preserves attachments, metadata, and folder structure. Ideal for large OST files where manual export isn’t practical.
