How to create repeating sections with Acrobat DC in prepare forms?

Hi there,

I am fairly new to Acrobat DC, and I have been trying to find a way to insert a repeating section. In MS Word you can add such a section on a group of controls with a Repeating Content Control Section.(see screenshot with + symbol in MS Word)

Does anybody know how you can create or simulate this fairly ;o) simple request in a PDF Form with Acrobat DC?

Thank you,

Nico

This may look simple but it would be messy and difficult to do in PDF forms. You would need to have JavaScript code to create new forms and calculate their position, make up new unique names. If you are not an experienced and inventive Javascript programmer I think your best view is that this is not possible for you. It also wouldn’t work in most PDF viewers and mobike devices.

As mentioned, this is not really a simple feature that exists in PDF forms. The closest thing to it is to duplicate entire pages, including all their form fields, by using a Template object.
