Hello everyone
I want to shift 3 or 4 (or even more) sticky notes (including the replies to the sticky note) on a specific page all together to a separate page within the same PDF file.
Is there a way I can efficiently do it without having to individually create new sticky notes and manually copy pasting the content? As they are 3000+ sticky notes in a file and creating new sticky notes and copying the comments will be too tedious and time consuming.
Please let me know. Thank You everyone!

It's possible to use a script to move all, or all selected, comments at once to the same location on a different page.

Hi,
In the past, I printed to a pdf the comments.

Can you confirm the version of the software and the operating system?

Thank You Eric! the thing is the document I imported the sticky notes from had the notes on different page numbers and now in order to reorient everything I want to manually move the sticky notes from one page to the next IN THE SAME PDF without having to do the hassle of creating a new note on each page and copy pasting the comment. Is there an efficient way?

I think I understand better your issue.
I think this is bad news as you seem to have a large number of notes.
I don't see a technique to 'select all' and move them all, sorry

You can cut and paste the notes.

I tried but when I press CTRL + X to cut the note it only cuts off the note but doesn't paste it when I press CTRL + V in the page I want to place it. Plus again what do I do when I have sticky notes with multiple responses to them? Post each response one at a time? There are 3000+ sticky notes in the document... It simply won't work.

Cut and paste works for me.

Unfortunately I can't cut and paste across pages.

Sticky notes and comments are easier to manipulate with the Selection tool (black arrow) than with the Hand tool.
We can cut/copy-paste several at the same time.

I don't think that's the problem I want to copy all sticky notes and their content in one page of a PDF to another page of the PDF without making the effort of creating a new sticky note on the second page and then copying the content one sticky note at a time.

Sorry man it ain't working for me. When you have 3K plus sticky notes in a file cutting and pasting from page 2 of PDF to page 60 is tedious

Can you tell me how? I am not very tech savvy though. Thank You!

I don't think that's the problem…
Using the Selection tool: select all comments (sticky notes or any type of comment) on a page, cut them, go to the target page and paste them.
That's all!

Mate I did try doing that but when I select all of them, it only picks up one and pastes it. It doesn't do all of them as you're saying.

How does you select and cut the notes?

I select the arrow in the toolbar then press CTRL to individually select all the comments, but when I press CTRL + X and go to the target page to comment and then press CTRL + V, it doesn't work. Please help.

it doesn't work. Please help.
Open the Comments tools pane, clic the "AZ" icon to sort Comments by Page, clic on the 1st Comment, SHIFT-clic on the last Comment, then use shortcuts or the Edit menu to cut/copy/paste.

If you try to do that in a file with more than 3000 comments I can almost guarantee the application will freeze up or crash.
It was barely able to load all of them in the Comments List just when I opened it, not to mention process them using a script, which is much more efficient than this method...

I agree. I tried that. Adobe couldn't handle it and froze. Thank you friend for running the script. Adobe needs to seriously relook at their software and see why it crashes when there are a large number of comments in the document.
