HOW TO OPEN IN SEPARATE WINDOWS

As of the latest update I cannot get the documents to open in separate windows.  The old way to change preferences does not work.  Help.

This issue is reported to our engineering team and being worked upon.  If you are on the new UI, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html and see if that works.

not correct answer.  There is no setting to change to have all docuemnts open in separate files.  I do not want to use the old version and there is no setting to get them to open in separate windows and your link does nothing to help.

Disable the NE -

Disable the new UI and you will get the option in the preferences.
