I've exported an interactive PDF from InDesign 2020 with an embedded h264 MP4 video. The video appears just fine in the PDF, but I can't figure oput how to get the video controller to appear in the PDF. The video plays OK but I'd like the user to be able to pause the video - but the pause and play controls are nowhere to be found.

The INDD options for exporting interative PDF don't mention the controller, and neither do the media options in Acrobat.

Any clues?

Inside InDesign you don't set the "controller" options in the PDF export window, you do it to the media object itself.

Window > Interactive > Media

Otherwise it would be impossible to set different options for each video in a document.
