I cannot believe that Adobe Abrocat can want to charge someone $300+ per year when their program is a DISASTER! I just registered the other day, and I am beyond frustrated at how many errors I've run into everywhere. Literally, the last few days, I am only getting a few hours of sleep because I have spent the majority of the time trying to troubleshoot things I shouldn't have to.
Let's see...
1st I register, and don't get the verification email. Check and email is correct. Check junk. Take screenshot to try to show chat, but it says "invalid format" even though it says you can attach JPG and PNG. Other programs open them fine. I go and change the email, and I then get the code.
During Live Chat even if I get to maybe the 6th or 7th sentence, it allows you to keep writing, and then you submit the text to them and it cuts off at some random point as if you wrote too much, and have to type it out again.
The person was helpful in showing me an article about how to make links. I did that, and also saw a couple of pages of info I wanted to blur out. I used a photo editing software, blurred the image, which several paint programs, showed the new image being blurred where it's supposed to, including Chrome. I go and update the blurred image in Adobe Acrobat, and it then shows the areas I blurred with dark gray in those areas, so it's recognizing that but then it literally shows all the text I had blurred out in front of the gray... I couldn't believe it. WTF!
I took print screen shots, Chat had no answer for that, but showed me how to redact. Did that yesterday on a couple of areas and was fine (and left the auto toggle on). Today, I go and redact one area just like the day before, and it then deletes ALL links I had made on probably 20 pages out of the 34 that have links, and most pages had about 5-6 areas that had links. Luckily, just before the redaction, I sent it by email to myself, so I had a copy of this... but I go back and chat, and they tell me to create a blank document, add text and a link, and redact...and the link disappeared until I switched the toggle off, after you hit apply. The Chat agent said that was the issue, and probably, but makes no sense I didn't do that yesterday, and didn't have a problem.
Then I keep going and shortly after, more problems! First of all, I added the standard yellow comment icon with the standard yellow background for comments. I also did a red questionmark icon with a comment. When I type out the red one, it gets cut off in the Adobe software, even though I can see it fine on the right where you can edit the comment. Why it doesn't just let me keep typing left to right is beyond me, and it won't let me stretch the box myself. It's 10 lines of text but 3 of them are blank, and it's not that wide, so it really isn't that much text. In Chrome, that text that should have a red background is yellow, and doesn't look good, and it's cut off at the bottom.... in FireFox it's got the red background, and looks perfect. In Adobe Acrobat Reader, which I opened on another computer, as that will probably be the way most people on my team would be viewing it, it puts the comment all the way to the right, and is even more cut off, and as a user, I'd have to know to stretch the box taller myself so I can read the rest of what's there, and ther eit keeps saying "Reply".
This is so freaking frustrating, I HATE YOU ADOBE (right now). Your program doesn't have to be so awful....arrrrghhhh!!!!!

And not to mention with the above, that almost every chat even though I started with "Adobe Acrobat" the person still had to transfer me. I never said anything rude or mean but the last agent on chat disconnected, and definitely on purpose I'm sure, and I don't blame them because this program is beyond frustrating.
I'm now going to go on UpWork and pay a freelancer to help me. This is the 2nd day I will be on only a few hours of sleep because of this BS. It is NOT fair.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are experiencing so we can look into it and assist you better?
What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
