I review manuscripts and theses via comments using adobe pro. It was once easy to change the comments to anonymous for individual PDFs (in preferences identity). I have switched to creative cloud and can no longer do this. It ask me to log in but changing my ID does not change it in the adobe pro. Unless there is a fix this will make adobe pro useless for reviewing.

Go to Edit - Preferences - Commenting and make sure that the "Always use log-in name for Author name" box is NOT ticked.

Then edit one of your comments, set the Author value to whatever you want to have, and click the box to make the current properties the default.

This will only affect new comments you create from that moment one, though. If you want to edit existing ones you can use this free tool I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Anonymize Comments (FREE)

Even with the "Always use long-in name ofr Author name" box not ticked, the username still shows up (which is a porition of my email). I cannot change this as it is connected to my organization. I would like for it not to show up in the comment boxes. It seems there should be a way for comments to be made anonymous easily in order for this cloudbased product to continue to be useful.
