Recently i've tried to covert .PDF files with OCR. When selecting - Tools -Text Recognition - the tools are not enabled. I've had this program for a couple of  years. The is the primary function I use and haven't experienced this problem before.

Hi,

We are sorry for the issue you are facing.

So from what I understand is you are not able to perform OCR on the PDF documents.

Could you please share:

1) Acrobat version

2) Screenshot of the disabled tools

3) A sample doc with which you can reproduce the issue.

Steps to share the file using Adobe send

Share the file using https://cloud.acrobat.com/send

a.            Open this link

b.            Click on “Select files to Send”

c.             Click link "Select file from my computer" and Select the file

d.            Click on Create link

e.            Share this link

Thanks

Rishabh

Thank you for the response. However, I figured it out… uninstalled and reinstalled.

Thanks,

Tom

Thank you risharmaAdobe for pointing out that I needed to mark as answered. I was impatient on waiting for replies. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat Pro X and everything started working properly again.

Once again thank you for taking the time with my question.
