I wanted to highlight text in a downloaded pdf document. the box came up asking if i wanted to scan in OCR and offered the option to not see the box again. I checked it and can no longer use the text highlight feature. How do I turn back on the OCR scan f

I wanted to highlight text in a downloaded pdf document. the box came up asking if i wanted to scan in OCR and offered the option to not see the box again. I checked it and can no longer use the text highlight feature. How do I turn back on the OCR scan feature?

Hi Jeffr,

For any such checkbox remember functionality, you can always reset them from Preferences.

Steps are:

1) Launch Acrobat

2) Edit->Preferences->General

3) Click Reset All warnings
