I have installed Adobe Acrobat Build: 25.1.20432.0 on my iMac running Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.1. I just need an Acrobat product that I can open PDF files, annotate with comments, use basic highlighting functions in Acrobat and hopefully is still a free product. The first question is am I using the proper 64-bit Adobe product for Mac OS 15.3.1? I can go to Finder, display Applications, left click on the Adobe Acrobat icon and click on Open to open this application. This is the only application on this computer I have to do this process to open it. Then once it is open, I cannot double click on a PDF file to open it in Acrobat--I have to display the folder in Finder, right click on the PDF document and finally click Open to opne it. And it often occurs that when I click on the Acrobat icon in my System Tray, Acrobat will just quit without any messages. Please help because these long procuedures for opening Acrobat and PDF files are just plain tedious!! Thanks for anyone's help with these problems.

Hi @dx54396,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
Would you mind letting us know if you experienced the same issue on the latest version (2025.001.20435)?
The offline installer can be found here: https://adobe.ly/3DTjhA8
If it does, please share a screen recording of the entire event for a better understanding and investigation.
Regards,
Souvik.

Thank you for your help. I have been using the free version of Adobe Acrobat for years on my Apple equipment for many years. Your link was to the Acrobat Pro version which has a cost. Is there not a free version for those of us that are just using it to open PDF files and do some simple commenting and highlighting? By the way, the Acrobat Pro version did open right up from the Application Folder and gave me the menu screen in short order. I did not want to start a free trial for a product I was not going to buy. Thanks again for your help.

After reviewing the products from Adobe the product I think will do what I want to do above is Adobe Acrobat Reader. But I have tried to install several of those products and they fail to install on Mac OS 15.3.2. Can someone please point me to a version of Acrobat Reader that works on Mac OS Sequoia (15.3.2)? Thanks.
