Program:Adobe Acrobat X Pro

I have crate a ordinary fillable pdf-dokument

I have a normal Comma Separated File (CSV) with names
ex
Adam.Adamsson
Brian.Billson
.
etc

I have tried to import the different names into the fillable pdf.
I only can manual put in the name inte the "fillable field" in the pdf.

I want to the AcrobatProgram to make several pdf.s from the "first original fillable pdf" with different names from the csv-file

How to do that ?

Hi,

Can you confirm the exact version of your software and operating system?

Just to make sure we understand:

  • you have created a pdf with fields
  • you have a list of names in a csv file
  • you want to import the names from the csv in some of the fields in the pdf
  • OR do you want to make 1 pdf per name on the csv list, like a mailmerge?
  • Is that correct?

Did you create the pdf in Acrobat? this would work well in InDesign where you can use datamerge to import data and generate pdf's

This is called a Mail Merge operation. You can do it using some versions of the Acrobat plugin for Office (for example in Word), or using a script, such as this (paid-for) tool I've developed:
