Hello,
I converted PDF to Word 2016 using Acobat DC. In the converted Word file, there are many incorrect line breaks cut the sentence in middle. For exmple:
- If the screen is blank (a power-saving feature), press [line break]
and quickly release the Power button
-The problem is most likely with the [line break]
attached PD
I use AI translation on the converted Word files and these line breaks result in incorrect translation.
The converted Word file has nearly a hundred pages, with mix of correct and incorrect line breaks. Is this a bug from the PDF-Word conversion? Any suggestions to fix/avoid the incorrect line breaks globally?
Thanks,
Diana

How exactly are you performing this conversion?

Thanks - I open the pdf, choose "Export PDF" and select the Microsoft Word (there are some different settings but doesn't make a difference from the outcome).

I believe that uses Microsoft technology to convert the file. If you're on a Windows machine you should use the Acrobat PDFMaker plugin, instead.

I only have the PDF, I can opend it by Word with a warning message saying the output might not look exactly like the original PDF - Then I got a Word file with more incorrect line breaks.
Could you please let me know what I should do with Adobe PDFMaker plugin? I do have the plugin in Word, but my intention is to convert PDF to Word without incorrect line breaks.
Thank you.
