Incorrect PDF Rendering with Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) when downloading from SAP

New Here ,
Sep 05, 2025 Sep 05, 2025

We are experiencing an issue with PDF rendering in Adobe Acrobat when opening files downloaded from SAP. The PDF files are displayed incorrectly with versions 25.001.20630 and 25.001.20577 (64-bit).

We have already tried the standard troubleshooting steps: repairing the installation, restarting the device, verifying for updates, and testing with Protected Mode temporarily disabled. Despite this, the issue persists. Protected Mode has been re-enabled for security reasons.

Could you please confirm if this is a known bug in the mentioned versions? Additionally, we would appreciate guidance on any available solution or workaround to resolve this PDF rendering issue.

Hello @chiara

Thank you for outlining the issue and the troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken — that’s very helpful.

Could you please share more details about the issue? Are you on Windows or MacOS, and what is the version? Could you please install the latest version of Acrobat on the machine: Win: 25.001.20672, Mac: 25.001.20668, Sept 03, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

If the issue persists, please share the current OS and SAP versions and a sample PDF file that allows you to reproduce the issue. Also, collect the logs from the affected machine. To collect the logs, download and run the Log Collector tool. Make sure to select all log options and attempt to reproduce the issue. After that, close the Log Collector tool; it will generate the logs along with a log ID. Please share this log ID with us for further investigation.

Thanks,
Anand Sri | Acrobat Community Team
