Input Issue On Editable PDF

Hopefully someone can help!

When I open an editable PDF in Acrobat DC on my 2021 Macbook Pro, the input fields continue to light up blue, the input data is slow to react, and I was having save issues. Is this a setting that needs to be adjusted or otherwise? Please see attached video of screen recording for reference.

Hi,

Does the file have a large number of scripts attached to the fields? particularly calculate scripts as they are run everytime any field changes?
