I have a pdf fillable form (created in Adobe Acrobat DC) that needs each item (line) checked off as completed and signed by the testing officer but it may be several different testing officer completing different sections of the 4 page form over a period of time. I want test officer No.1 to be able to complete maybe the first four items on page 1, some items on page 2 and some on page 3 today and I want him to be able to sign each of these lines (items) today without having to 'save' the document each time he signs one line (item) - so time consuming!!!...........is there a better way than using the digital signature boxes in each of these lines e.g.my form looks like this
Description of the check carried out........Conducted by (name of test officer)........Signature (of test officer)
Therefore there are 4 pages of different things being checked off which could be by different test officers on different days - but all for the one candidate - with a final sign off by and candidate and the manager when the whole form is completed.
many thanks
Heather

They can sign using one of the commenting tools, but it's not the same as a digital signature.
And no, you can't disable the automatic Save As dialog that appears after the file is signed.

If you read what and why digital signatures were developed and added to the PDF forms you see that there is a large body of laws within many countries and between countries that describe in detail what the requirements and purpose of the digital signature is. This certificate needs not only to be secure but each document it is applied needs to be secure from changes after the application of the signature. or needs to reveal the fact that the document was changed and what was changed. Digital certificates are used in commerce for all electronically signed documents that are enforceable within a country and on an intentional basis.
