Interactive-Digital Reports

Hi, Adobe community!
I'm wondering how people are making their digital reports.
I keep seeing these interactive reports where infographics are animated.
Is it with in5 and InDesign, or is there another tool out there?

I'm looking to move a step beyond the standard PDF.

You're seeing PDFs with animation in them? That's quite surprising... If you do, it's either a video or a very complex script. Either way, it's not a common feature of PDF files.

Thanks for the responce! I think PDF was the wrong term to use. 

Maybe they are called: multimedia magazines, digital impact reports or interactive reports

It is publih online via InDesign!
