Curious about the phrase below about signers not being required to sign up/purchase; confirming that the sender would need to have an adobe sign account?  Thank you, Alex

Get PDFs signed by others using Adobe Sign

You can get documents signed by others using the Fill and Sign tool, which relies on cloud services provided by Adobe Sign. It lets signers quickly sign agreements from anywhere using a web browser or mobile device. Signers are not required to sign up or purchase any Adobe product to sign the agreements.

An email is sent to the signers asking them to sign the agreements. Once signed, both you and your signers receive the signed PDF by email. You can track the entire signing process in Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC from Home > For Signature.

As the creator of the agreements all you need is paid subscription of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Adobe sign is included, unless is for small business or enterprise which you can try for free for 90 days and test.

When you incorporate Adobe Sign in your workflow you will be in control of the entire process from beginning to end. You will be able to track, modify an agreement while in transit, and assign a specific signing order for the singers of the document.

And yes your Clients don't require to have this tool installed to sign your PDFs.

Hi,

Acrobat PRO DC for an individual user includes access to Adobe Sign. Adobe Fill and Sign is a basic feature included with Acrobat versus Adobe Sign being an add-on premium service. Here is more information around Fill & Sign - https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrobat/how-to/fill-sign-pdf-forms-electronically.html.  And here more details of how to get documents signed and those options when uisng Acrobat PRO DC.

Your Signers are not required to have a license or pay for any Adobe product to sign documents sent with Adobe.

Be well,

Shannon
