Is there a way to change the default settings for OCR for all users to either Clear Scan or Searchable Image Exact? Our organization is having issues with fine line drawings being degraded with the default downsampling for the OCR engine. We would like to change all users default OCR settings. Are there instructions or screen shots available to give individual users the ability to change the default OCR settings as noted above in Adobe Pro DC?

Hi Thomas,
The Settings stays sticky once you scan with them.SO all you have to do is scan once with the desired settings and they'll come by default for new OCR operations.
Please let us know:
1) The steps by which you run OCR.
2) Acrobat version
3) OCR settings used
Alternatively you can also use Actions app to make a custom OCR action with specified settings.This action can be exported, shared and imported as well.
