Is there a way to scale pdf pages in Acrobat pro DC?

I have a client that wants me to convert 8.5*11" pages into something close to a 6*9" format. Is there a way to do that? I can do it in illustrator, but that's very time consuming and then the results are uneditable.

I've also read a lot of discussion about art boards in Acrobat, but I cannot find any way to access art boards in Acrobat DC. Am I missing something?

You can scale pages with the preflight tool.

Thank you Bernd for the clue. But I have looked thoroughly through the preflight tool and cannot see anything about scaling pages. Can you point me to which section or what specific sub-tool that contains that option?

Thank you in advance, John

Dear Bernd,

That led me to the almost correct answer, but as engineers say, "close enough." And you are certainly a genius. This kind of stuff is WAY beyond my pay-grade. I got to the last step in KH's tutorial and the screen shots didn't match up with my interface. I persisted though and wound up with an output that measured 6.75" x 8.75" which is actually good because Acrobat didn't stretch the internal artwork (I was aiming for 6x9" [and I knew that wouldn't work]).

I pursued this out of intellectual curiosity even though I had already figured out a very simple workaround: just tell my client to print the thing at 70588235294118% and she'd end up with a document size of exactly 6" wide x 7.7647 height. That's because that aspect ratio of 8.5x11 is not the same as 6x9. But there were other problems with bleeds and trim, so I resigned the job—it looked like it would become an epic nightmare.

Thank you so much for your time and attention, John

The screen shots of the tutorial were made on a Mac.

Not only did I do this on a Mac, but with one specific version of Acrobat, and it is possible that Adobe tweaked the user interface over the years.

Herr's Kremer and Alheit,

I think you have figured out the difference. I am running a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2008), El Capitan. Acrobat Pro DC 2019.

Adobe changes everything constantly so we all know what the deal is there.

I am not complaining at all, just saying it looked different. It worked though and you both are geniuses. I had no idea that Acrobat ran so deep. I've only scratched the surface of what it can do. I will hire you both for future assistance if it ever comes.

I thank both of you so much for this valuable information,

John
