I bought the Adobe pro CD to edit my PDF file. When I change any word or spellings it creates big gaps in the text and disturbs the right alignment of the page. I have not used this programme and I am finding it difficult to make any use of it. Can you advise? should I return the programme to you? What should I do? I am wasting my time and not achieving any thing.

PDF files were not meant to be edited in such a way, so doing so is always going to be risky.
The results will vary a lot, depending on your version of Acrobat (the newer the better), and the way the PDF file was created.

Hi Tariqr,
Sorry for the delay in response.
As you have mentioned above, you are experiencing issues in editing the PDF.
Please let us know if you experience this issue with all the files that you try to edit.
Try to check if you can edit on other PDFs without any issues.
It would be helpful if you can share the screenshot of the page you edit.
Also, let us know the dot version of Adobe application and OS you are using.
You may refer the steps provided here to check the dot version: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
Let us know if you have any questions or need any help.
Regards,
meenakshi

Hi,
I also having problem to edit PDF.
When i switch to edit PDF, Acrobat DC merge some images to single image.
Wireframe preview(Pitstop) before enter to Edit PDF, the barcode on the bottom is a separate image.

After enter to edit PDF, some images were merged to single image.

This had prevented me to edit the barcode only, instead i need to open the whole image from photoshop.

You should probably have asked your question in a new thread.
The objects may be grouped, which might prevent individual selection, I can suggest a possible work-around. Using the PitStop select object tool, select the barcode and right click (or control click) and assign the barcode to a new layer, save the PDF, then try the Acrobat edit object. If it still doesn't work, temporarily turn off the other layers, then select the barcode. To turn off layer visibility, go to View> Show/Hide> Navigation Panes> Layers, and un-check the eyeball.
In response to the original question, If Tariqr has PitStop (an expensive Acrobat plugin) he can use it to combine, expand or move text, for somewhat easier editing. It's always better to make the edits in the original application and make a new PDF.
