Issue Installing Adobe Acrobat

Running macOS Ventura Version 13.0 I have a Macbook Pro 14 inch M2. I have been trying to install the Adobe Acrobat app through the Adobe Creative Cloud and when I click install this grey system preferences block pops up but I am unable to do anything or click anything. When I try doing it through the browser, it does the same thing. See screenshot of the block that appears.

Another thing - I can't update Adobe Photoshop to the latest version as I keep getting an error.

Hi @ashleyw42235807

Thanks for sharing the screenshot.

It looks like something in your system is blocking the installation to complete. Here, I would suggest using this direct download link once rather than downloading and installing the setup through the CC desktop app.

1- Reboot your computer

2- Close the CC desktop app if it's open. Or close all the Acrobat or CC processes running in the background from Activity Monitor.

3- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks,

Akanchha

@ashleyw42235807 Thank you for this.  I was really struggling after my recent change to macbook m2.  Prior version of Adobe Acrobat Pro would barely run without locking up.  Removing and then trying to reinstall with an installer that would only lock up was frustrating.  Your input and guidance to the download site fixed it for me and I'm up and running.  Thanks Again!!  I shared this on our Company Yammer group ... others had identified a similar download issue.
