Issue with File functions in Pro DC after combining files

After a PC reboot, when I open Acrobat Pro DC, I can perform all the functions under the File menu. Frequently, I combine PDF files into new files using the Organize Pages interface. After inserting one file into another, I can no longer access the File menu. When I touch it, Acrobat crashes.
I've deleted and reinstalled, but that doesn't fix it. Are there some settings I can delete to fix this?
Thanks,
John

If it helps, the files I'm trying to combine are created using Quicken. I've been doing this successfully for years, so I don't suspect a file format issue with Quicken.

Hi John_Allred
We are sorry for the trouble and the delay in response. As described the application is crashing after combing the files and go into file menu
Please try combing the different PDF files (created via Adobe Acrobat DC) and check the behavior.
Also please try to repair the Installation. Go to Help > Repair Installation and see if that helps.
You may also try the steps provided in the help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-windows.html)
If it still doesn't work, please try the steps below and check:
- Remove the application using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool (https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html)
- Reboot the computer
- Reinstall the application using the link (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/acrobat-downloads.html)
Let us know how it goes
Regards
Amal

Hi there
A new update for Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC is now available v20.009.20063. Please update the application to the new version. Go to Help > Check for Updates. You may also download the patch manually from the link (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html)and see if that helps.
Also, if you are using the dual monitor setup, please refer to the steps provided in the help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/dual-monitor-crash-windows.html)
