I have been using Adobe Acrobat to turn Japanese language .pdf documents into searchable text. This often results in errors since the ocr function fails to recognize furigana or or "ruby"--which refers to the small font explanatory script either on top of or to the left of Japanese characters. Is there a setting or tool I can use to eliminate these errors?
