Javascript Not Staying in Acrobat Pro Form Calculation

New Here ,
Nov 11, 2024 Nov 11, 2024

I'm trying to add Javascript to an adobe form in Adobe Pro (this script: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/calculated-date-field-14-days-from-date-entered-i... ). But when I enter the form in Calculate - Custom Calculation Script and then select "OK", the script doesn't stay. It does the same in Validate - Run custom validation script.

I've also tried various other scripts. Video attached. idk what's up with the quality.

Did you try disabling the "new" Acrobat?  There's a lot of issues with it.

This happened to me before when I had to Troubleshoot Compatibility and then "Try recommended settings".  I had to change a setting under Edit > Preferences but I can't recall which settting at the moment.

Did you use the Edit All JavaScripts command at any point?
