I am new to Adobe Acrobat. I have searched for but haven't been able search for an answer to this problem.
I have a Portfolio that was produced by an application. It opens without error.
I would like to export the file list at the top of the portfolio. I have found some JavaScript scripts that are supposed to export this information. However, when I open the portfolio, the only tool that is active is "Send and Track".
If I close the file, the tools become active. If I select the JavaScript or Edit PDF tools and then select the file, an error message "This type of files is not supported" is displayed.
Any idea why this is occurring? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide to resolve this.
I have determined what I believe the reason this is occurring. This link describes a Permissions password that can be used to secure a PDF document. I have verified the file in question has almost all of its permissions, including editing, disabled. I'll see if I can have the document exported from the application in an editable form.
