Kommentar in PDF einbetten

New Here ,
Sep 01, 2025 Sep 01, 2025

Hallo zusammen,

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

On iPad, when you use the Pen tool in Acrobat, it creates annotations (similar to comments) rather than permanent content. That’s why you’re seeing the signature as something that can be selected or deleted.

If you’d like the handwritten signature to become part of the PDF itself (so it’s no longer treated as an annotation), a common workaround is to:

Flatten the PDF – This process merges all annotations (including your pen tool signature) into the actual PDF content, making them non-editable.

1. On mobile, Acrobat doesn’t currently have a direct “flatten” button, but you can achieve this by printing the file to PDF (using “Print” > “Save as PDF”)

2. Use Fill & Sign – Instead of the Pen tool, try the Fill & Sign tool. When you place a signature through that, it embeds more securely and won’t appear as a regular comment.

3. Desktop Option – If you have access to Acrobat on a desktop, you can open the file and use the Print to PDF function, which will flatten everything, including your handwritten signature.

At the moment, there isn’t a one-tap option on iPad Acrobat to flatten annotations, but the print-to-PDF method is the most reliable workaround.
