Is there a limit to the number of pantones that can be used? The generated PDF does not go beyond the 27 Pantones. It's possible?

There is quite a low limit on the number of spot colours that can be applied to a single object (including blending for transparency). This should not apply to the separate objects, but any workflow is likely to apply its own limits. It's almost impossible to imagine how a press would be set up to print with 27 spots, so maybe you're just using spot colours for process printing - if so, don't do that!

Unfortunately they are color samples, four leaflets mounted on a machine sheet. In total there are over 30 pantones. Thanks anyway.

Where in the workflow does it seem to fail, and what happens?

If more than 27 pantones are used in the Indesign document, in the generated PDF the pantone in "excess" are process.

Perhaps an InDesign limit. If it’s multiple sheets try making separate PDFs and combine in Acrobat.

The work presents a total of 48 pantones! In order to manage it I had to divide the document. Basically I created a sheet machine with 27 pantones (the maximum limit) and another with 21. These are limit cases.
