Loaded Fonts not found when Editing PDFs

I'm having an issue when editing PDFs with Acrobat Pro.  I have Janda Scapgirl Dots loaded on my iMac and in my Adobe Cloud. The font shows up when I'm editing and it allows me to edit ONE time. When I scroll down the document to edit again, i get the "i" notice that the font is not found.  This happens with many of my loaded fonts and the pdf reverts to the Geneva Font automatically. What is causing this and how can I fix it?  I have to completely shut Adobe down and open it again to be able to do one more edit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you Omar. The problem isn't that the font is not available, it IS available and allows me to edit one time with it. Then when I scroll down the pdf to edit additional text, it gives me the error that the font is NOT available and substitutes Geneva (which isn't in my preferences as a default font.  Very Frustrated to say the least...
