mac print dialog box will not display

In Acrobat DC, when I select print or cmd+P no print dialog box will appear. My printing functions work in all other apps. Problem is specific to Adobe Acrobat. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app and still cannot print.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above, the Print dialog box is not appearing in Acrobat Pro DC when you press Command+P, Is that correct?
Please check for any pending updates of Acrobat from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing any updates and see if this brings any difference.
If there's any other printer that has more than or equal to 10 characters in the printer name, set that as the default printer.
If there is only one printer then follow the below mentioned steps.
1. Note the properties (IP/hostname etc.) of the printer.
2. Delete the printer from the list of printers.
3. Add the same printer again and in the process of addition, change the printer name to more than 10 characters.

Try resetting the Acrobat's preferences once and reboot the machine, to reset the preferences, please refer to How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.
If the issue persists, please share the following details:
- Dot version of Acrobat installed, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
- The version of Operating system installed?
- Make and Model of the printer installed?
