Mac printing ignoring printer settings

Explorer ,
Feb 13, 2018 Feb 13, 2018

Printing from Mac OS high Sierra (current patch level) to a Konica Minolta Bizhub.

Acrobat ignores the printer settings and prints in colour and double sided despite these options being disabled in the printer settings.

All other apps work fine.

Yet another issue with Acrobat on Mac..

I suppose you do not have "Print on both sides..." on your print dialogue box?

As per my original post.

Print on both sides and print greyscale are available on the print dialogue box, acrobat ignores the settings and prints double-sided and in colour regardless of any printer options set.

These same options work fine on any other application with the exception of acrobat.

Please post screen shots of your dialogue boxes. Please specify also your Acrobat version.

Thanks! That's the printer's standard dialogue box, right?

Could you please post also the Acrobat print dialogue box:

That is the printer (OS) dialogue box. Acrobat pops up a window when you select it (selecting the "printer" button below) telling you that it is opening an external OS dialogue box.

The native acrobat printer options don't include two-sided printing like windows.

Hi Nick_db,

Sorry for the delayed response.

Are you still facing this issue? If yes, check if an update is available for Acrobat using "Check for updates" option under "Help" menu, reboot the machine after installing update and try again. You may also download updates from here: Adobe - Acrobat : For Macintosh

Also, check if update is available for the printer using the steps given in this link: macOS Sierra: Update or change printer software

Reboot the machine after installing update and check.

Let us know if you need any help.

Shivam
