Merge two text boxes into one

How do I merge two text boxes into one?  I see if under "Prepare Form" I can hold the ctrl key and select the two boxes, but there is nothing that allows me to merge them into one.  As you see, my two text boxes are different sizes, so having one continous box would look much better and allow the user to scroll to the next line.Adobe merge.GIFexpand image

I'm not sure what level of merging you mean... you can just delete one box and make a new one bigger. If you want to create a box that is not a simple rectangle, it is not possible. I think you're looking for an option to flow text, no such option exists. Some people have written code to take "overflow" typing and put it into another box, but this is both very complex and very limited, probably not worth the attempt.

Thank you.  Yes, I was looking for an option to create a text box that is not a retangle.  Figured there might be a way to merge my two text boxes into one, but sounds like that is not possible

Not possible. A field in a PDF file must have a rectangular shape.
