I am having issues with missing GUI tool buttons, errors on drop down menus (likely related to GUI), and errors on trying to print.
Previously when this happened - it finally led to the point where just trying to open a PDF caused Adobe to freeze. Adobe itself would open directly as long as you didn't try to open a file. Once you opened a file though, the only recourse was to open task manager and end the process.
Things tried since then... uninstalled and reinstalled through Creative Cloud. Uninstalled Adobe and Creative Cloud - and reinstalled both. Uninstalled both, deleted all files that could be found associated with Adobe, and reinstalled Adobe Reader - which then installed the more advanced version I have access to. That fixed the immediate crashing. But, then started to again get the missing tool buttons - graphic only, they were still available to be clicked if you knew what / where it was. After a little more time has passed, menu items are again causing error issues... Printing is erroring out... and presuming just a matter of time until it all crashes again and I have to have IT completely wipe the install again (and delete all files) just to reinstall.
Since it doesn't look like I can insert it as a video, hopefully the dropbox link will allow it to be viewed:

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the experience!
Would you mind trying out the steps mentioned below:
Repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only), reboot the computer once, and check.
You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...
If neither of them works, please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html, reboot the computer once, and install the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that works for you.
Hope this helps.
