Mobile Reader Inverting/Negative colorizing opened PDFs

So I have been searching around for this answer, but everyone seems shocked. I am on an iPad Pro, 3rd gen, and everytime I open a pdf in Acrobat Reader mobile app, it makes the colors like you would see on a film negative. (picture 2)

Light mode setting does not affect the adobe issue. All I want is to scroll through my PDFs with them in their proper colorization.

Hello,

I know this was posted over 5 years ago, but I ran into the same issue today. I was able to fix it by going into view settings in the mobile app, then turning off Night Mode. Photos inside my PDF instantly reverted to normal.

Hope it helps anyone else that has the same issue in the future.

Would need more information about how the PDF is generated. Is it a PDF-X, PDF-A or some other standard? It contains less common colour spaces, and output intents that may affect the result. What is the source of the file? Does the file contain CMYK, RGB, Spot colour and/or index colour data? Is the negative image an image mask, and you reqire overprint preview to be envoked for correct viewing? (Is it corret to guess that you have a texture that is colourised for the background? If this is with a spot colour, try changing all spots to process in InDesign, or whatever creator application you are using, I think the conversion should be possible to run with a preflight action, but making the change in the source application is smarter)

Hi,

Here is the Adobe Welcome to Document Cloud PDF brochure

Welcome to Document Cloud

See if when you get the file it does the same behavior.

I would like to rule out the possibility of this being related to an accessibility preference of inverting colors if, for example, the original documents that you've posted here as screenshots, go through some kind of imoprt or export process to PDF in your iPad or another computer running Acrobat or a third party software,  before you download it to your iOS device.

You've mentioned about this happening with every PDF.

So my main question is, Does this includes also a PDF that you generate from any other source document, like MS Word for example in your iPad?

Please share the link  of where you're getting these PDFs from.

Have you tested the misbehaving PDFs in another iOS device with different generation version , or an Android  device?

In any case, if this is really happening with every PDF, check the built-in Accessibility settings in iOS.

Check if what you're referring to is related   to the Adobe Reader  mobile app for iOS  feature night viewing mode .

Toggle it off.
