Move software to new computer

Community Beginner ,

I have Adobe Acrobat Standard 8 on my old computer and want to uninstall it from that computer and put it on my new one.  It is pretty old, so old that I can't remember exactly what media was used to install it, although I am certain it was legit.  I recall it was a CD but I looked for a CD everywhere but had no luck.  Is there anyway to be able to do what i want now, or am I out of luck?  My new computers have a "Print to PDF" that mostly fills the bill for what I need it but, occasionally, if it is three or more pages, it splits it into multiple files and, when that happens, that is the only time I really need this Adobe product to be able to combine them (or delete a page in the middle).  Is there some other workaround, if there is no way to be able to 'move' the software (and its permission from my old computer) to my new one?  One workaround is to simply keep my old, slow, computer for when i need to sue this software, which isn't very often.  However, I would prefer to wipe it clean and give it to charity.  Thanks for any ideas, folks!

I think that was part of CS3

The CS2-CS3-CS4 activation servers have been removed from service
-https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite.html?promoid=19SCDRQK
-So even if you have a disc or saved download, CS2-CS3-CS4 are completely dead
-Adobe also no longer supplies the special non-activation version of CS2-CS3-CS4

Thank you for your help.  I recall that, even three years ago, when I first migrated to a newer computer, Adobe already had told me I was out of luck. So, I kept this old computer running and probably will need to do so indenitely, if I want to keep using this software, albeit occasionally.  Alterantively, is there something equivalent that i could purchase that is not too expensive.  As I only vaguely recall, it is not as fully fucntional (nor as expensive) as a full-up adobe acoboat creator, but was good enough for what I need.  Also, almost anything I need PDF for starts as a Microsoft product (word or excel) and there is this Microsoft Print to PDF that works nicely, except when it seems to be unable to convert it into only one single file and splits it into two, if not more, files, whihc is a problem for me.  Is there someway to force that functionality to create only a single file?  That is mostly all that I need.  Thanks again.
