Moving even and odd pages by 3mm

We have a book to be printed with the files supplied as A4 but as it will be perfect bound, we need to move the page content over a little to make room for the spine.

Is there a way to do this in Acrobat? (Ie: all even pages, content moves 3mm left and all odd pages it moves 3mm right)

Or is there a script we can use to do this?

There's no easy way to do it directly in a PDF file using a script. The closest you can get to it (except for doing it manually, one page at a time) is to change the size of the crop-box of each page.
