Hello, Im new to this forum, thanks for letting me in !
So to get right to it, I have hundreds of scanned multi page pdfs where the margins are a little to close to the edge.
All these PDFs pages are unique as all the dimensions are different, from 8.5x11 to 8.5x14 even fractions like 8.53x11.2 etc ..
I know if you have a PDF with all the same page sizes you can easily use the crop tool to add a margin but as I mentioned none of the pages are the same size.
I could Also print to PDF and use the shrink to printable area function but then I would have to resize the pages.
Is there anyway to add a 1/8th inch margin to all these random page pdfs while retaining the over all size, preferably a batch method as I have hundreds to process.
Thanks,
Dan.

You can remove it by going to the fly-out menu, delete.
I think the add bleed profile is new, so you might consider upgrading.
If you private message me, I'll send you a zipped copy of my preflight, but it probably won't work with your version of Acrobat.
If you click on my icon, you should see a link to send me a message.

You can duplicate and edit an existing Acrobat preflight profile that can add bleed to your pages.
Go to Tools> Print Production> Preflight> Select single fixes (blue wrench icon)> Pages> Create 1.5mm bleed by upscaling (go to the little fly-out menu to duplicate and re-name this profile). Edit your new profile and turn off scaling, adjust the bleed amount to .125", click OK to save.
I believe this profile can be used in an Acrobat action to batch process PDFs.

Hi Luke, Thanks for your reply. I cant seem to find that fix but I failed to mention that im using acrobat pro 9. Perhaps that fix isnt included in this version?
I tried messing around the the "insert trim" as you can see the "danny trim " in the picture ( how do you remove those BTW?)
Do you think you could send me a custom profile from your version of acrobat ? Not sure it would work?
Thanks for the help !
Dan.

So as predicted, no luck importing that profile! I did however find that using the crop/custom page size function does work. What happends is if your page is larger or smaller that the selected custom size it simply is ignored. So at least the majority can be fixed .
Again ,your help was greatly appreciated!
