My pdfs are now updated to PDX X?

I work with PDF's all day long, editing them for patients and all of a sudden today my forms "updated" and now they are not completely functional (tab- delete etc) Just things that are making me slower with work. How to do I revert them back to the old format? I tried searching and found where people have been able to figure it out but at this point, I do not think the same instructions apply.  

 

I attached a screenshot of the tool bar for reference because I cannot find the "disable new update" feature

You're using a different application to open them, called "PDF X". Open Acrobat and associate it with the PDF file extension (via Preferences - General) or remove this other application.
