Here's the story: My Word file is 300 pages, 13.3 MB, has a few tables and 2 maps. Acrobat desktop times out when trying to convert--says the connection or my account is the problem. I assure neither is true. When online at Adobe using drag and drop create-a-PDF, the conversion again times out, but this time the message says the file is "too large or too complex." The thing about that is, I merged 4 word documents into the 300 pager. Each smaller Word document will convert to a PDF. So they are neither too complex nor too large on their own. The problem continues because I can't just make 4 PDFs and merge into one because the single Word file uses 800 citations and a biography linked using Zotero, such that when split into multiple documnets the citation numbering gets all messed up (tables and figures too). Can somebody offer a solution? Greatly appretiated!

You can try to reduce the size of your Word document, especially the size of the maps.

I moved your post over from the poorly named Community Help forum, which is for getting help using this forum system, to a better forum.

Hi
How are you creating PDF?
Which version of Acrobat and Office are you using?
Which OS?
Thanks
