New Acrobat freezing constantly.

WHenever asked to do a memory intensive task, Acrobat DC Pro crashes/freezes. This time it was listing comments in a pdf (their number was over 3K marks/comments).

I like the interface but Acrobat has become dangerously unstable. The classic version it replaced is no better these days.

For what it's worth, we are seeing memory issues on Windows machines as well. We have many users that will not even have acrobat open and their computer will crash. After recovering from the crash, you will see Adobe using almost all the virtual memory in the event viewer right before the crash happens. I have only been able to get this to stop by disabling all acrobat items from starting up when the computer does.

That won’t work. The problems accumulate as you use Acrobat, not before
then. Memory spikes when crashes occur, for sure.
