New Adobe Acrobat interface

New Here ,
Aug 20, 2024 Aug 20, 2024

Hello. I use Adobe Acrobat for third parties to sign contracts. However, they recently changed the interface, and it has become terrible. The change makes the process of sending contracts take at least five times longer. I would like to know how to revert to the previous version; the new one is awful.
Thanks!

Hi maria_paula_0056,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you wish to switch the Acrobat sign to classic version, please use the following steps:

- Open the Acrobat online link (https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/) and sign in using your Adobe credentials.

- Once signed in, click on the profile icon and select settings.

- In the settings window, go to E-Sign settings.

- Unmark the box for "Use the latest version of Request e-signatures."

- Click on the Save button at the bottom to save the changes.

Check if that helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

How can we turn off all AI features and other new stuff many of us don't like? In other topics they suggest using the hamburger menu to the left/near Home on desktop computer. I don't even have a hamburger menu there.

If you're missing the hamburger you are either on a Mac in New Acrobat mode or using Classic Acrobat, both of which have real menus instead of the hamburger menu.

Turning off all of Acrobat's AI features is easy... Well, it's actually hiding them, but effectively it's the same as turning them off. Just switch back to Acrobat Classic. The AI features are one of the selling points of the New Acrobat UI, so they've been disabled for anyone in Classic.

Here's my visual walkthrough of going back to Classic.
