Hi pierre-eric_2084 ,

Thank you for sharing the information and the file.

We tried to replicate the issue, and OCR works fine. The text can be selected, and the PDF do not appear blank.

The screenshot shows that you are using an old version of the application. Please try updating the application to the latest version and check if the issue persists.

In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Check for updates. For more information, you may refer to the following help page: https://adobe.ly/4pyGqKe

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi pierre-eric_2084,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

As you are experiencing issues with OCR, please confirm if the issue occurs with a particular file. It would be helpful if you could share the screenshot and the sample PDF so we can replicate this issue.

Please also share the Acrobat and OS version numbers on the machine.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Thank you for your help.

Here is the version I have.

And I send you the file with which I got this problem. But this time it is not black, it is white (or empty!). I use the OCR on this same file a few months ago. And it worked perfectly.

Hi Meenakshi.

Thank you for your reply and advice. Obviously, the version I bought was not a good one. I bought a new one and it seems to work fine now. Regards.

Pierre-Eric
