OCR multiple documents without changing pdf date

Is there a way during OCR for multiple files in Acrobat, you can leave the orginal metadata as it was. e.g. the original date created or modified.

Not with any Adobe tools. That would be strictly non-kosher!

You cannot "leave metadata as is", but using the Action Wizard + JavaScript you can store these metadata, OCRize a document, then restore these metadata.
