OCR not accurate

New Here ,
Jul 05, 2025 Jul 05, 2025

I'm trying to add OCR to a PDF of a comic scan but it keeps recognising the wrong things, and doesn't recognise all the texts.

Can I select and delete all the wrong OCR and possibly add it myself?

Hi, @swann_x1231, Let me answer your last question first: no. You cannot select regions of the page to OCR and others not to scan.

As far as the quality, please review this blog I wrote for Adobe a number of years ago. I should help you with what you can and cannot expect and how to improve the quality of the scan to get better OCR

Good luck!
