Latest version of Acrobat, 25.001.20841. I try to recognize handwritten text and all the "recognized" fields are blank.

Can you show a sample of the original text? So much depends on the legibility of the handwritten text.

I'm impressed it got that much.

look, I've been following OCR for some 25 years, and handwriting is not happening realistic at this point in time.

I think this is a situation where you can do it yourself and type it out by hand AND do all the formatting while you're at it rather than spend considerably longer to try and get the job done the way you want it to be done.

if nothing else, you have the recipes, I'd love to get my Mom's recipes but they are gone. So, I encourage you to either do it by so many recipes per day or so many minutes/hours per day. But I promise you that will take less time then trying to use OCR.

Sorry
