Hi there,

Hope you're doing well, and thank you for reaching out to us.

I’ve reviewed the PDF file you shared, but I wasn’t able to identify any clear differences between the first page and the subsequent ones. To help us better understand the issue and provide the most accurate assistance, could you please share a bit more detail about what exactly seems off or unexpected?

For example, are you noticing differences in formatting, content, layout, or something else specific on the first page compared to the others? If you could also let us know the steps you took before encountering the issue, that would be really helpful.

Hello!

I hope you are doing well.

Adding to the suggestions shared above, if you have Acrobat and want to Fix the Oversized First Page in Acrobat, please try these suggestions and let us know how it goes:

Option 1: Resize the Page Directly in Acrobat (Pro Only)

If you're using Adobe Acrobat Pro, follow these steps:

  1. Open the combined PDF in Acrobat Pro.
  2. Go to All Tools > Print Production > Set Page Boxes.
  3. In the window that opens:
    • Under "Change Page Size", select a size like A4 or Letter to match the other pages.

    • Apply it to “First page only”.

    • Click OK to apply.

This will resize just the oversized first page to match the rest of the document.

Option 2: Recreate the Combined PDF with Uniform Page Sizes

If you're combining multiple PDFs:

  1. Open each PDF individually.
  2. Use the “Print to PDF” option or Save As PDF/A to normalize page size (A4 or Letter).
  3. Then recombine them using Menu > Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF.
  4. This ensures all pages start from a clean, standard format.

Option 3: Crop the Oversized Page

If resizing isn't an option, you can at least crop the page visually:

  1. Open the PDF.
  2. Go to All Tools > Edit PDF > Crop Pages.
  3. Select the oversized page, draw a crop box, and double-click to set dimensions.
  4. Apply the crop to the first page.
  5. This will visually fix the issue (especially for printing), though the page size technically remains large.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
