Ever since the 2300620320 release, we have had just one bugged release after another from the Adobe Acrobat Pro team. 2300620380 broke Word DOC conversion for us (certain sections are converted to blank copy), and subsequent versions have introduced seemingly random hangs when viewing and/or printing assorted PDFs. The latest version 2300820470 has now seemingly broken activation/registration, and entire documents are now printing as just blank pages. Support, both chat-based and phone-based, has been beyond useless. It takes at least two transfers to get transferred to "the appropriate department" each time I start chat/call, even after providing a specific case number to start. Their tech spent almost two hours remoting into an affected laptop to simply repeat the steps I already told them I had taken; he changed a few system settings to no avail (set time zone automatically?), but did not take the time to undo those changes when they proved useless. Now, it seems they are accessing our account without authorization; they kicked the user out of their account on the unaffected desktop instance without any notice and without being in contact with us to let us know they were doing so. This last part might just be the last straw.

ETA: And does anyone else have issues with Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Genuine Service, and Notifications Manager for Acrobat, reinstalling itself after being removed via Add/Remove? By their own admissions, these three programs are NOT required for Acrobat Pro to work properly, yet they keep reinstalling themselves! So what other programs do you all use to replace Acrobat Pro?

Further ETA: According to Supervisor Rakish (sp) in Activation Support, the Adobe Genuine Service will ALWAYS run as a service, even if you uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs. According to him, uninstalling Adobe Genuine Service only removes the files from local storage but the service continues to run. Does this not make Adobe Genuine Service malware? Is Adobe not violating multiple Privacy Policy provisions by continuing to run an unwanted program on our machine?
