open pdf document to blank page??

when opening a pdf all I see is a blank page and sometimes doesn't even open at all, contact number or insant chat available? I have a paid subscription

Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

Sorry for the delay in response to your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you are getting a Blank PDF file when you open it, Is that correct?

Please try the following steps mentioned below and check if it brings any difference:

Navigate to Edit>Preferences>General> and uncheck these two options:

  • Show online storage when opening files.
  • Show online storage when saving file.

Close the and relaunch the Reader.

You may also refer to PDF opens as a blank page in browser with Acrobat or Reader 10.1.2 Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdf-opens-grey-screen-browser.html

If the issue persists, please share the following details:

  • Is it Acrobat or Reader installed?
  • Is it a Mac or Windows machine?
  • Is it happening with all the PDF files or with one PDF file?

This is 2022 and the problem with blank pages still exist in Acrobat Reader version 22.003.20282

Windows 10 (22H2) (OS Build 19045.2364) 

Internet stable connection to server with 50 Mbps.

No problem reading the pdf file using Chrome.
