opening documents in the same window / tab Adobe reader XI

Adobe Reader XI,

Windows 10 Pro.

All documents I am opening are in the new windows, I would like to open documents in the same window...(as it was in previous versions)...were I can do it? I can not find that option

Sorry, my reply was not accurate. This setting is available, but it's not relevant to this issue. Using tabs in general is not available in Reader XI.

PDF documents can embed a script that overwrite this Preference setting.
