Organize Pages stopped working in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  Version 2022.001.20085

The button on the right side of the screen opens the Organize Pages screen, but I no longer have the ability to drag and drop pages into a different order.  When I click on a page the rotate and delete options show, and the three dots leads to more options, but no drag and drop into another place.

What am I missing?  It used to work...

Hi Joe,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.

As Dave__M mentioned, the issue is not reproducible at our end. Please check if the issue occurs with other files too.

Would you mind sharing the screen recording of the workflow you do? That will help understand what happens.

Try once repairing the application installation. In the application, go to Help > Repair Installation.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I am running the same release (Windows 10), and am not having an issue with dragging and dropping pages.  Have you tried this with other PDFs?  I might consider a Repair Installation if this behavior is persistent with all PDFs.

My best,

Dave

Good Afternoon,

The system repair and computer restart seems to have fixed the issue.

Thank you for your help.

FYI, this constantly happens to me I'm assuming as you push our different updates. Two months ago I had the exact same problem. For the past month or so, Organize Pages had drag & drop feature. Now, it doesn't again.

This is on Windows 10 and yes I've rebooted several times. Very frustrating that in 2024 you can't have a stable product with the most fundamental of capabilities.

Hi @ShawnS123

Sorry for the troubled experience, and thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback.
I quickly tested the feature to organize pages. I tried dragging a PDF into an existing PDF and a non-PDF file into the existing PDF. Both scenarios worked at my end.

Please ensure your copy of Acrobat is updated. To check for any pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check for updates.
If the issue is still reproducible, please share the Acrobat version installed on your machine: https://adobe.ly/41CRUUt;

And if possible please share a video recording of the issue happening at your end. That will be helpful for us to quickly understand your workflow and issue.

Thank you for your patience and support.
