OTF Font seen as Type 1 in preflight

Community Beginner ,

I have just purchased (today) a font from Linotype that is an OTF font.

When I preflight the file in acrobat it shows as Type1 -

can anyone explain please and is it safe to use in the press file?

I have deleted all my type1 fonts from my font managment software, so nothing is opening automaticaly by default.

all my software is up-to-date

operating system: Mac Ventura

thanks

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

no problem.  (now we have to wait for an acrobat expert like @try67 to get some actual help.)
